How to Make Simple Peppermint Bark
- Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper, set aside.
Break up peppermint candy canes with a mallet or food processor, set aside.
- Melt white chocolate in a double boiler.
Spread melted white chocolate evenly over parchment paper with rubber spatula to about 1/2 cm thickness.
Set aside to set in fridge.
- Melt semi sweet chocolate with peppermint extract, salt and butter together in double boiler.
Spread out evenly over hardened white chocolate with rubber spatula.
- While semi sweet chocolate is still melty, sprinkle peppermint pieces over chocolate.
Set bark in fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Break up into pieces before serving.
