Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
How To Make perfect fudgy brownies
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Line a 9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper so it over hangs a bit for easy lifting out.
-
Step 2In a large microwave safe bowl melt butter. Stir in Chocolate chips and sugar and stir until chocolate is melted completely. Microwave for just 15 second intervals if needed until fully melted and incorporated.
-
Step 3Stir in eggs one at a time beating by hand until fully incorporated after each one. Stir in Vanilla, salt, and baking powder.
-
Step 4Stir in flour and cocoa powder until just incorporated. Very important not to over mix! Pour into prepared pan. Bake for just 35 minutes. Dont over bake, it may appear undercooked but will set up. Cool completely. Remove brownie from pan onto cutting board. Cut into 9 large squares. Then cut each square in half creating a triangle. Wipe your knife clean after each cut to help keep the ease of cutting these fudgy gooey brownies. Store in a tightly covered container, like tupperware. Enjoy!
