Ingredients
- 2 and 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 4 miniature candy canes, finely chopped
How To Make peppermint candy cane fudge

Step 1Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper. Set pan aside.

Step 2In a saucepan over medium heat, melt together the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, salt, and butter; stirring constantly.

Step 3Once the chocolate has melted, remove pan from heat, and stir in peppermint extract, and pour the mixture into the parchment lined pan. Quickly spread in pan with a spoon.

Step 4Sprinkle the bits of candy cane pieces on top.

Step 5Place pan in refrigerate until fudge is firm. About 4 hours.

Step 6Then cut into 1-inch pieces.
