Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
- 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- - garnish: orange zest and chocolate
How To Make orange-chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes

Step 1In large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt and blend well.

Step 2In small bowl, combine buttermilk, milk, egg and butter. Whisk just until blended. Add to flour mixture. Gently fold in orange zest and chocolate chips. Let stand 10 minutes.

Step 3On lightly greased non-stick skillet, pour 4 Tbsp. of batter and cook until batter bubbles. Flip and cook 2 minutes longer or until golden brown. Serve with your favorite syrup or topping! Garnish with zest and chocolate chips if desired. 4 points per serving (2 pancakes)
