My beautiful Mama used to make this for us on cold winter days or especially around the Christmas holidays.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons hershey's cocoa
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons marshmallow cream
  • 1 pinch salt

How To Make my best hot chocolate

  • Step 1
    In a boiler, mix the cocoa, sugar and water. Stir together until the cocoa powder is all dissolved.Add the milk and pinch of salt and stir together. Cook on a medium heat until it is scalded and looks white on top but not boiling. Remove from the heat. In each cup put a heaping tablespoon of the marshmallow cream and pour your hot cocoa over it. So delicious!Note: If giving to children let it cool down to warm before they try to drink it.
