Ingredients

1 cunsalted butter,room temperature

1/2 cgranulated sugar

1 1/4 cbrown sugar, packed

2 largeegg
-
3 tspvanilla extract

2 call purpose flour
-
2 1/2 cold fashioned oatmeal
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1 tspbaking powder
-
2 cchopped milky way bars, frozen

1/2 cchopped walnuts
-
1/4 cchopped raisins
How to Make Milky Way Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
- Chop up candy bars into small pieces and place separated on a tray and freeze until ready to use.

Melt butter in the microwave until it begins to turn brown. Chill until it becomes solid again ,but still soft about 1 hour chill time..then on the counter for 5 minutes. - Using the paddle and your mixer, cream sugars until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well until blended.
- Slowly add flour,baking powder and salt, mix well to combine.Remove bowl from mixer, and hand mix in the oatmeal, raisins and nuts. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350^.
Scoop a large Tablespoon of dough(about 1 1/2 inches). Press about 4 or 5 pieces of frozen Milky Way onto the tops of the balls, pressing in slightly. Bake for 10-12 minutes; until cookies are lightly brown on the edges. They will seam uncooked in the center, but will set up as they cool. Do not over bake. Cool on cookie sheet for 3 minutes before placing on cooling rack.
