kay's hershey cookies

I had this treat when visiting my stepmothers parents. Pa, her dad, made these and said that he got the recipe from his friend Kay. I believe it was in a 9x13 pan, but I certainly remember the wonderful smell coming from that oven! The waiting for it to cool was the longest part, because I wanted to dig right in!

Ingredients For kay's hershey cookies

  • 2 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 stick
    margarine
  • 1 can
    eagle brand milk
  • 2 c
    flaked coconut
  • 10
    almond hershey bars

How To Make kay's hershey cookies

  • 1
    Mix graham crackers and margarine and bake 10 min at 350.
  • 2
    Mix coconut and Eagle milk in a bowl and spread on above. Bake 10 min more.

    Place almond bars on above and put in warm oven a few minutes to melt. Spread across entire surface. Let cool and cut.
