Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 1-1/3 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 3/4 cup packed, light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, or pecans
How To Make healthy morning muffins

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 12-cup muffin pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, combine egg, banana, brown sugar, applesauce and vanilla, mix well.

Step 2In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir flour mix and oats into banana mix. Mix well.

Step 3Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into muffin cups 3/4-full. Bake 15-20 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
