Ingredients

  • 2 c
    rolled oats
  • 3/4 c
    packed, light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    wheat germ
  • 3/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    raisins
  • 1/2 c
    chocolate chips
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    honey
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla

How to Make Grab-n-go granola bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, mix together oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, cinnamon, flour, raisins, chocolate chips and salt.
  2. Make a well in center of mix. Pour in the honey, egg, oil and vanilla. Mix weel, using hands. Pat the mix evenly into pan.
  3. Bake 30-35 mins, or until edges start to brown. Cool 5 mins. Cut into bars while still warm. Don't let cool all the way before cutting into bars, or it will be too hard to cut through.
