Ingredients

  • 3 ounces bittersweet chocolate 70 % coco butter
  • 6 tablespoons room temp butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 4 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

How To Make gluten free red velvet brownies

  • Step 1
    Place chocolate and butter in a pot and melt. Blend smooth and while still warm add the sugar.
  • Step 2
    Let cool three to five minutes.
  • Step 3
    Sift the dry ingredients together and stir to combine well. Set aside.
  • Step 4
    Add the vanilla and eggs to chocolate mixture stir to combine.
  • Step 5
    Stir in the dry ingredients. Nuts are optional and 1/4 cup chopped can be added at this time.
  • Step 6
    Pour into a greased and lined 8 inch square pan.
  • Step 7
    Bake preheated oven 325 and bake 20 minutes to 25 minutes.Top should crack and also be shiney.
  • Step 8
    Remove to cool on a wire rack.
  • Step 9
    When cool frost if desired.
