Ingredients

3 oz
bittersweet chocolate 70 % coco butter
6 Tbsp
room temp butter
1 c
sugar
1/4 tsp
salt
1/2 c
cornstarch
4 tsp
cocoa powder
1/4 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
2 large
eggs

How to Make Gluten Free Red Velvet Brownies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place chocolate and butter in a pot and melt.
    Blend smooth and while still warm add the sugar.
  • 2Let cool three to five minutes.
  • 3Sift the dry ingredients together and stir to combine well. Set aside.
  • 4Add the vanilla and eggs to chocolate mixture stir to combine.
  • 5Stir in the dry ingredients.

    Nuts are optional and 1/4 cup chopped can be added at this time.
  • 6Pour into a greased and lined 8 inch square pan.
  • 7Bake preheated oven 325 and bake 20 minutes to 25 minutes.Top should crack and also be shiney.
  • 8Remove to cool on a wire rack.
  • 9When cool frost if desired.
