Easy recipe for some gooey, fudge stlye brownies. Basic, versatile recipe that you can add any number of ingredients to; chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, etc.

  • 1/2 pound butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 pound semi-sweet or 60% chocolate (chopped or chips)
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (1/2 tsp if extract is less than 10% alcohol)
  • 2 tablespoons milk

How To Make fudge brownies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325°F and grease baking pan
  • Step 2
    Melt together butter and chocolate
  • Step 3
    Whisk eggs until homogeneous, then whisk in brown sugar and 2/3 cup granulated sugar; add to chocolate mixture
  • Step 4
    Sift together remaining dry ingredients and whisk into wet batter; add vanilla and milk
  • Step 5
    Bake for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick tests clean
