A nice, easy brownie recipe. If you don't want nuts, don't add them.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 - squares chcolate, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 - square chocolate, for frosting
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup, for frosting
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted, for frosting
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar, for frosting
  • 1 bag chopped nuts

How To Make frosted brownies, mom's

  • Step 1
    Cream butter, add sugar and eggs, one at a time. Then chocolate, vanilla, flour and nuts. Spread evenly onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees 35 min.
  • Step 2
    Melt chocolate for frosting. Combine all ingredients for frosting and frost while brownies are still warm.
