My friend and I had a "bake day" and this was another of the recipes we tried from the "Flour Me With Love" website. It is very dense and full of chocolate goodness, and oh-so-easy to make!

1/4 c
butter, softened
1 c
sour cream
2 tsp
3/4 c
cocoa (i used a dark cocoa)
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/8 tsp
1 3/4 c
1 c
chocolate chips
1 c
toffee bits


1/2 c
chocolate chips

How to Make Double Chocolate Toffee Bread


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 5 in. bread pan.
  • 2Cream the sugar, butter, sour cream & vanilla together. Mix in the eggs.
  • 3Add the cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt & flour.
  • 4Stir in the chocolate chips & toffee bits, and then pour into the greased pan. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips & toffee bits on top.
  • 5Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50-55 min. Let it cool for a few minutes and then remove from pan.
