Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 can chocolate syrup - 1 lb can
- 2 cups confectioner sugar
- 6 ounces chocolate morsels
- 6 tablespoons butter - to melt chips
How To Make creme de menthe squares

Step 1Combine first 3 ingredients in mixing bowl. Add flour, salt, vanilla, syrup. Beat well. Pour into ungreased 9X13 pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool

Step 2Combine ingredients for second layer. Beat well, Spread over cooled cake layer. Refrigerate till firm

Step 3Melt chocolate chips and 6 T butter in microwave. Pour over second layer. Refrigerate to cool. Cut in small squares, very rich but delicious
