9 inch pan
Stove Top


  • 3/4 c
  • 1 c
  • 2 large
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 c
    crushed graham crackers
  • 2 c
    mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 c
    peanuts,ground fine

  • 1 c
    semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c
    peanut butter

How to Make Cracker Brownies


  1. Lightly grease a 9-inch square pan. In the top of a double boiler, melt the shortening with the sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat in vanilla. Return to the heat and cook, stirring, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the graham crackers, marshmallows, and peanuts.
  2. Spread mixture evenly in the pan. Refrigerate until chilled. For the topping, Melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter in a double boiler over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread over the top of brownies. Refrigerate until set.
