My kind of Brownie ;-)

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup peanuts,ground fine
  • TOPPING
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

How To Make cracker brownies

  • Step 1
    Lightly grease a 9-inch square pan. In the top of a double boiler, melt the shortening with the sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat in vanilla. Return to the heat and cook, stirring, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the graham crackers, marshmallows, and peanuts.
  • Step 2
    Spread mixture evenly in the pan. Refrigerate until chilled. For the topping, Melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter in a double boiler over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread over the top of brownies. Refrigerate until set.
