This recipe came from my good friend Randi. She makes it and gives it as Christmas gifts. We love it warmed up on vanilla ice cream, but you can put it on anything. It is delicious. The recipe is super simple, but the clean-up is a bit messy.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter, creamy
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon hot water

How To Make chocolate peanut butter spread

  • Step 1
Mix first 5 ingredients until smooth. Dissolve coffee in hot water. Add coffee to chocolate/peanut butter mix. Stir thoroughly. If you would like it coffee free, just substitute another teaspoon of water or vanilla.
  • Step 2
Store in air-tight container. We use mason jars, but you could also use plastic containers with tight fitting lids.
