Chocolate-orange pistachio bars

3 cregular oats
3/4 cchopped pistachio nuts, divided.
1/3 cwhole wheat flour
1 Tbsporange peel
1/3 corange juice
1/4 cbrown sugar
1/4 cmelted unsalted butter
1/2 tspbaking soda
1-2/3 csemisweet chocolate chips.
How to Make Chocolate-orange pistachio bars
- Heat oven to 325. Line a 9 x 13" pan w/ foil, spray foil w/ cooking spray. Make sur to overlap the foil over the edges of pan. In lg bowl, stir together oats, 1/2 cup chopped nuts, honey, flour, orange peel, orange juice brown sugar, butter, vanilla and baking soda. Mix well. Press mix into pan evenly. Bake 20 min, or until center is set. In microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips,1 min, stir. Keep microwaving and stirring until melted. Spread chocolate over baked mix. Sprinkle w/ remaining chopped nuts. Cool. Cut into bars.
