chocolate fudge pie

This is a favorite during the holidays served with Peppermint Ice cream!

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons baking cocoa
  • 1 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 4 - eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 - 8 inch pie crusts

How To Make chocolate fudge pie

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine cocoa, margarine and eggs. Add flour and sugar . Mix well. Stir in vanilla.
  • Step 2
    Divide evenly between 2 8 inch pie crusts. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 2 pies ( 6-8 servings _ each.
  • Step 3
    This pie will seem to rise when baking and will slightly settle as it cools. It is not a thick pie, but is delcious. Be sure to use the 8 inch pie crusts. It is so good served warm. You can also serve with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with a hot fudge sauce for a wonderful treat.
