chocolate cream frosting
Another one of my Grandma's delicious frostings. This frosting is best used for a white or chocolate layered cake.

Ingredients
- 3 - chocolate, unsweetened squares (3oz.)
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 - egg , slightly beaten
- 3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar (more if needed)
- 1 teaspoon almond or vanilla flavoring
How To Make chocolate cream frosting

Step 1Chop the chocolate squares into small pieces.

Step 2Melt the chocolate and cream in a medium sauce pan on the stove on medium heat or in a double broiler .

Step 3Stir constantly until nice and smooth.

Step 4Add slightly beaten egg and cook until thick and smooth.

Step 5Remove from stove and pour into a mixing bowl , add the sugar gradually , beating until smooth.

Step 6Add the flavoring last of all.

Step 7Frost your favorite cake or cupcakes and enjoy.
