This is my sister's recipe. We all just love it!

Ingredients

  • 12 cups popped corn
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa (to taste)
  • 3/8 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

How To Make chocolate caramel corn

  • Step 1
    In pan, melt butter; add sugar, cocoa, syrup, and salt. Sitr occasionally until bubbly around edges. Continue to cook over medium heat about 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Remove from heat, stir in baking soda until foamy. Pour over popcorn (which has been divided among ungreased baking pans). Stir until corn is coated.
  • Step 3
    Heat in a 200 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
