This was a recipe that developed over time. My children began to feel like lab rats but now, to this day, it is the one dessert they request when they come to visit!

Ingredients
- 2 cups cane sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa, unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup water
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- TOPPING FOR BAKED BROWNIES(FROST WHEN HOT OUT OF OVEN)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup cane sugar
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
How To Make brownies made with love

Step 1Bring butter and water to a boil and remove from heat.

Step 2In decent sized mixing bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.Add the water/butter mix to the dry, beating on medium speed, add the 1/2 c. milk, then the eggs, and mix till smooth.(may have a few very tiny lumps)

Step 3pour into a greased and floured jellyroll pan and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 4While brownies are still hot, mix the first 3 items for the topping in a pan over medium heat, bring to boil.

Step 5Remove from heat. Stir in the chocolate chips till smooth.

Step 6Spread over hot brownies. :)
