Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped fine

Step 1Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. lightly grease a 9-inch square baking pan. Combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt.

Step 2In a large bowl, beat the eggs and brown sugar. Beat in the vanilla extract until thick. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Fold in the walnuts.

Step 3Spread mixture evenly into prepared baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cut while warm and cool in pan.
