I like that this recipe because its simple and I love chocolate and almond and serve this with coffee. I do not add the cherries by the way.

square unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 can(s)
eagle brand® sweetened condensed milk
1 c
cold water
1 sm box
package instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 tsp
almond extract
2 c
heavy cream, whipped
1 can(s)
cherry pie filling, chilled
1/4 tsp
almond extract (for cherry pie filling)

How to Make Black Forest Mousse


  • 1• COMBINE chocolate with sweetened condensed milk in large bowl. Beat in water, pudding mix and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. Freeze 5 minutes.
  • 2• FOLD in whipped cream. Spoon equal portions into dessert dishes.
  • 3• STIR remaining 1/4 teaspoon almond extract into cherry pie filling; spoon over desserts. Garnish as desired.
