My grandchildren absolutely loves these sandwiches.
Doesn't mean adults can't appreciate the great flavors, right?

  • 4 slice
    multi-grain bread
  • 2 Tbsp
    peanut butter, i use reduced-fat
  • 2
    bananas, sliced
  • 4 large
    strawberries, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp

How to Make Banana-split sandwiches


  1. Spread peanut butter on 2 slices of bread. Place banana and strawberry slices evenly on other slices of bread, ( the bread slices w/ out peanut butter.)
  2. Sprinkle chocolate chipe over fruit. Close the sandwich by placing the peanut butter bread over the fruit bread. Press down firmly.
  3. In medium skillet, over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sandwiches to skillet. Cook 1 min on each side or until sandwich is golden brown. Cut each sandwich into triangles and watch for smiles.
