This 5 ingredient frosting is perfect for the black magic chocolate cake, or be great on any cake! It went together quickly in my stand mixer. It is a soft frosting, so I recommend to use it on 9X13" cakes.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
How To Make 5 ingredient black magic cake frosting

Step 1Bring butter to room temperature; cream well.

Step 2Add cooled, melted chocolate to butter, and beat until well combined.

Step 3Add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time.

Step 4Add in vanilla and heavy cream and whip until all is combined and smooth.
