white chocolate party mix

An addictive snack mix that will be a hit at any occasion. At Christmas, I double the recipe and divide it into sandwich size baggies to give to co-workers, the mailman, neighbors, delivery drivers, etc. For a batch that matches the occasion/holiday, use the "holiday" M&M's (i.e. pastels for Easter, red and green for Christmas, pink and red for Valentines, etc.)

Ingredients

  • 1 - 10 oz. package mini pretzel twists, or sticks
  • 5 cups cheerios
  • 5 cups corn chex
  • 2 cups salted peanuts
  • 1 pound m&m's
  • 1 package 12 oz. vanilla chips
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

How To Make white chocolate party mix

  • Step 1
In a VERY large bowl (I use my roaster pan), combine pretzels, Cheerios, Corn Chex, peanuts, and M&M’s.
  • Step 2
In a microwaveable bowl, combine the vanilla chips and vegetable oil. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
  • Step 3
Microwave again for 30 seconds, stirring until completely smooth.
  • Step 4
Pour over cereal mixture and mix well with hands (I advise wearing rubber gloves during the mixing process). Spread on waxed paper (about 3 cookie sheets long). Let cool.
  • Step 5
Break apart into smaller pieces. Store in airtight container. I use Ziplock baggies.
