At Christmas, I double the recipe and divide it into sandwich size baggies to give to co-workers, the mailman, neighbors, delivery drivers, etc.
For a batch that matches the occasion/holiday, use the "holiday" M&M's (i.e. pastels for Easter, red and green for Christmas, pink and red for Valentines, etc.)
Ingredients
-
110 oz. package mini pretzel twists, or sticks
-
5 ccheerios
-
5 ccorn chex
-
2 csalted peanuts
-
1 lbm&m's
-
1 pkg12 oz. vanilla chips
-
3 Tbspvegetable oil
How to Make White Chocolate Party Mix
- In a VERY large bowl (I use my roaster pan), combine pretzels, Cheerios, Corn Chex, peanuts, and M&M’s. In a microwaveable bowl, combine the vanilla chips and vegetable oil. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Microwave again for 30 seconds, stirring until completely smooth. Pour over cereal mixture and mix well with hands (I advise wearing rubber gloves during the mixing process). Spread on waxed paper (about 3 cookie sheets long). Let cool. Break apart into smaller pieces. Store in airtight container. I use Ziploc baggies.
