Ingredients

  • 1 pound sugar
  • 1 pound butter
  • 2 cups mini chocolate chips

How To Make toffee

  • Step 1
    Using a thick pot or one you know heats evenly, heat butter and sugar on med-low heat, stirring slowly. Once toffee passes the water test (drop a bit into a cold glass of water & it should turn hard) or at the hard crack temp on a candy thermometer, pour mixture into a buttered jelly roll pan.
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and spread as they melt. Allow to fully cool, then crack and enjoy.
