1 Tbspsoy-sauce, low-sodium
1 tspgarlic powder
4 choney-nut toasted rice or corn cereal squares
6 cpretzels, mini
1 cpeanuts, dry roasted
1 ccandy coated chocolate pieces
How to Make SNACK MIX (DIABETIC-FRIENDLY)
- PREHEAT: Oven to 250 degrees F.
LINE: Baking pan with foil.
- IN: Small mixing bowl, whisk together sesame oil, honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder.
- ON: Prepared pan, combine cereal squares, pretzels, and peanuts.
ADD: Oil mixture and toss with cereal mixture.
BAKE: 25 minutes, stirring once.
- TURN: Off oven and let remain in oven 1 hour to continue crisping.
COOL: Completely and toss with chocolate candies.
STORE: In an airtight container.
