smoothest chocolate fudge
I found this recipe on the internet quite a few years ago. I give it as gifts to friends, teachers and coaches along with my peanut butter fudge (Kim's Peanut Butter Fudge).

Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 12 ounces can of evaporated milk
- 10 1/2 ounces bag of mini marshmallows
- 12 ounces bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 ounces sweet baking chocolate or milk chocolate chips
- 2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate (cut into pieces)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Step 1Line 15x10x1 pan with foil, extending over sides of pan; grease foil In a large saucepan, combine sugar, butter and evaporated Milk, cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil uncovered over medium heat without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat.

Step 2Add marshmallows; stir until melted. Add chocolate chips, sweet baking chocolate (or milk chocolate chips) and unsweetened chocolate, stirring constantly until all chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla, almond extract and nuts.

Step 3Quickly spread in prepared pan. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled. Remove fudge from pan by lifting foil. Remove foil from sides of fudge and cut into squares with a long knife (or use specialty cookie cutters) Store in airtight container to retain freshness.
