sarah's christmas crack
My sister in law made these Christmas day 2020. OMG were they better than any other recipe I have made. I personally loved the white chocolate topping, as most everyone else must have because they went so quickly! I am wondering what would happen with mint chocolate chips (then they might last since one niece won't eat mint, lol).

white chocolate? ME ME ME and ME!
Ingredients
- - saltine crackers, 1 sleeve per recipe

- 1 cup brown sugar per recipe
- 1 teaspoon vanilla per recipe
- white chocolate chips, recipe 1
- chocolate chips, recipe 2
- red and green sugar sprinkles
How To Make sarah's christmas crack
-
Step 1Foil a cookie sheet, spray with PAM very generously. Put layer of crackers on top. Bring butter and brown sugar to boil , stirring constantly, over high heat until bubbly (a couple minutes). Take off heat, add vanilla, pour over crackers. Bake at 400 degrees 6 min. As soon as you take out of the oven, sprinkle with chips of your choosing, and spread evenly (it will melt on the hot butter mixture). Sprinkle with the red or green sugar crystals right away. Now let cool, then break up into pieces. And then eat to your heart's content!

Step 2Note: you could use other things on top, but these were so good this way, and my favorite were the white chocolate topped ones!
