How to Make Reethy's Carmel Goody Candy
- In 2.5 quart sauce pan, add the butter, karo, sugar and salt.
- Bring to boil @ 250 F, on a candy thermometer.
- Add VERY SLOWLY the can of milk. Slowly will keep at boiling temp.
- Bring temp. to 245-250 again.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla, and (nuts if desired)
Pour in buttered pan, let cool completly
- Wrap in wax paper or celliphane.
