pinto bean fudge

This is not your normal chocolate fudge. I got this from a coworker 20 years ago, nd I've made it over the years. It's something unexpeced in a candy. Take my word it's good.

Ingredients
- 4 - squars unsweetened chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups unseasoned pinto beans ( homemade or caned) drained
- 1 1/4 cups margarine
- 2 1/2 pounds powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make pinto bean fudge

Step 1melt chocolate and butter, mash the beans and add to the mixture, and mix well.

Step 2add vanilla, slowly add the powdered sugar and mix well.

Step 3pour into a buttered 9x13" pan , put into the refrigerator until set, about one hour, cut into squars . ( this should be kept in the refrigerator because of the beans)
