I make this for Christmas gifts because it is so easy and kids love being able to help break candy canes. I have friends who come into town to see their family and make sure I know when I can bring theirs.

Ingredients

  • PEPPERMINT BARK
  • 1 package almond bark
  • 1 package natural peppermint oil candy canes, crushed

How To Make peppermint bark

  • Step 1
    In a microwave safe bowl, melt almond bark in microwave according to package directions.
  • Step 2
    When bark is melted smooth, pour crushed candy canes into bark and stir.
  • Step 3
    Pour bark onto wax paper lined baking sheet to cool. When firm, break into bite-size pieces and store in airtight containers.
