These are like mock pralines. This is an easy and very tasty recipe. My friend, Barbara Strickland, gave me this recipe a few years ago because she knows how I love to make desserts.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter (do not substitute)
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 24 - graham crackers
- - **you can easily half this recipe**
How To Make pecan bark

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Line a 10x15 cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Lightly grease foil.

Step 2Place graham crackers on the cookie sheet in one layer, which should fit exactly 24 squares.

Step 3Sprinkle pecans evenly over the crackers and set aside. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add brown sugar and stir until mixture boils. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat.

Step 4Pour hot mixture evenly over graham crackers then bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately place the hot cookie sheet in the freezer for at leat one hour.

Step 5Remove from freezer and break the bark into pieces. Store in container "out" of refrigeration.
