I have handed over the torch to making fudge to my husband and our daughter. I hate to admit it, but I think theirs is better than mine.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 can 12 oz. evaporated milk
  • 10 ounces peanut butter
  • 1 pint marshmallow cream

How To Make peanut butter fudge

  • Step 1
    Butter 9 X 13 pan and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk in large heavy saucepan on stove. Using a candy thermometer, cook stirring often until mixture reaches softball stage.
  • Step 3
    Remove from stove and quickly stir in peanut butter and marshmallow cream.
  • Step 4
    Quickly turn out into prepared 9 X 13 pan. Cool. Cut into small pieces. Store in air tight container.
