I originally found this recipe in "Work Basket" magazine. Seems like a hundred years ago. :)
This is one of those recipes that needs to be hidden from the peanut butter lovers in your life.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    margarine
  • 2 c
    peanut butter
  • 3 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 c
    rice krispies
  • 1
    8 oz. bar milk chocolate
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2
    cake paraffin wax

How to Make Peanut Butter Balls

Step-by-Step

  1. Blend margarine, peanut butter and powdered sugar. Add rice krispies. Dough will be crumbly.
  2. Make balls the size of walnuts from dough. Chill
  3. Melt chocolate bar, semi sweet chocolate chips and paraffin in top of double boiler. While chocolate is melting, put out wax paper for peanut butter balls to dry on.
  4. Dip chilled peanut butter balls in melted chocolate and place on wax paper to dry and cool
