Ingredients

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    corn syrup, light
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 8 oz
    peanuts raw
  • 1/4 c
    butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Peanut Brittle

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil the sugar, water and corn syrup to 245*F then add raw peanuts and cook to 290*F, then add butter and cook til 310*F
  2. Then stir in salt, vanilla and soda mix well. Pour into a greased (I spray pan with pam cooking spray)cookie sheet, let cool and then I break into pieces.
