This is an old recipe from my mother, it is very good.

Ingredients For old fashioned peanut butter candy

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    whole milk or evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make old fashioned peanut butter candy

  • 1
    Bring milk and sugar to boil. Cook until a soft ball (238* F on a candy thermometer). Remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Beat well and pour into a butter dish. Let cool and cut into pieces.
