I know there are a zillion recipes already for Crock Pot Candy, AKA Crock Pot Candy Crack, but this is the combo I find the most delicious for my friends and family. It has almond bark, chocolate chips, and peanuts, like all of the best recipes, but I use a few different extras. I’ll also post a few more options to try so you can develop the best recipe for your tribe. =^..^=

How To Make miller crock pot peanut clusters

  • Peanuts
    Step 1
If you want, add a liner to your Crock Pot or spray it with cooking spray. Then layer the following ingredients in this order. First, the peanuts go in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Almond Bark
    Step 2
Next comes the almond bark. 32 oz. takes 1 whole bar and 1/3 of another. I always use white almond bark for the whole bar, then I like chocolate almond bark for the smaller piece.
  • Chopped Almond Bark
    Step 3
Chop the almond bark into chunks. Place it all on top of the peanuts.
  • Add Chocolate Chips
    Step 4
The next layer is the chocolate chips, then the toffee or Heath pieces. (Peanut butter chips or butterscotch chips are also good choices for this layer.) DO NOT STIR YET! Cover and cook on LOW for one hour.
  • First Stirring at One Hour & 15 Minutes
    Step 5
At the end of the first hour, stir as well as you can. It will only be starting to melt, so just do your best!
  • One of the Middle Stirrings
    Step 6
Cover and continue cooking on LOW for one more hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Stirring will get easier as everything melts over the peanuts. During this time, cover baking sheets (or flat areas) with parchment paper or silicone mats. I also like small cupcake liners for gift candies.
  • At The End of Two Hours TOTAL
    Step 7
At the end of the second hour, the almond bark, chocolate chips, and toffee pieces should be totally melted and smooth, like this. TURN OFF THE CROCK POT.
  • Decorated Candy
    Step 8
Using a small scoop or 2 spoons, quickly drop hot candy onto the prepared parchment paper. If you are working alone, decorate after every 10 or so candies before the chocolate starts to harden. The candy can be whatever size you want, but one- or two-bite pieces are what I make.
  • Undecorated Candies
    Step 9
I also leave some without decorations, especially when it’s not the holidays.
  • Ready to Be Gifted
    Step 10
Allow to harden or freeze briefly. Store in airtight containers or tins with parchment paper between the layers. Enjoy! =^..^=
