How to Make Microwave Pralines
- 1Toast pecans for approximately 7 minutes. (I toast in toaster oven on medium setting.) Remove from oven and break into pieces.
- 2In large microwave glass container add brown sugar and whipping cream and stir. Place in microwave and cook at 100% power for 12 minutes or less depending on your microwave wattage as some microwaves differ.
- 3Remove from microwave immediately and stir in butter until melted. Next add pecans and stir.
Spoon onto parchment paper to cool. Recipe yields approximately 20 pralines.
