How to Make Microwave Pralines

  1. Toast pecans for approximately 7 minutes. (I toast in toaster oven on medium setting.) Remove from oven and break into pieces.
  2. In large microwave glass container add brown sugar and whipping cream and stir. Place in microwave and cook at 100% power for 12 minutes or less depending on your microwave wattage as some microwaves differ.
  3. Remove from microwave immediately and stir in butter until melted. Next add pecans and stir.
Spoon onto parchment paper to cool. Recipe yields approximately 20 pralines.
