Ingredients

1 c
butter
1 c
sugar
1 c
blanched, slivered almonds
1 Tbsp
water
1 Tbsp
white corn syrup
4
plain hershey bars (not king size)
1/2 c
finely chopped pecans

Step-By-Step

1Melt butter in a cast iron skillet.

Add almonds, sugar, water and corn syrup

Cook on high flame, stirring constantly
2Have some dark brown sugar sitting on the cabinet

Cook candy until it is one shade darker than the sugar sitting on cabinet
3Immediately pour and spread on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper

Break chocolate bars on top of hot candy and spread over candy

Sprinkle with pecans
4Cool and break into pieces and enjoy
