mamaw's fudge candy
I Have made this fudge for at least 25-30 yrs. This is my Mother-in-laws recipe. It turns out perfect everytime. It is the first thing my children and grandchildren ask for as Christmas gets close. Very sweet but very delicious.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks margarine
- 5 cups sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk (large)
- 1 jar marshmallow creme
- 1 package 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
How To Make mamaw's fudge candy

Step 1In a large pan, bring to a boil, the sugar, margarine, and milk. Boil for 8 minutes.

Step 2Put chocolate chips and marshmallow creme into a large bowl.

Step 3Pour th boiled mixture over the chocolate chips and marshmallow creme and beat until all chips and creme have melted. Beat until creamy and smooth.

Step 4Stir in vanilla and 1 cup nuts.

Step 5Pour into a 9" x 13" pan that has been greased with margarine. Let cool until it is set up. Cut into squares and enjoy.
