My daughter, Lynn always makes these and they are wonderful. Family must especially at Christmas time or because it is Tuesday.

How to Make Lynn's Caramels

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix everything EXCEPT vanilla in large pan and boil 6-7 minutes until it pulls from pan. Remove from heat and add the and stir in the vanilla.
  2. Put in well greased cake pan and let set for 10 minutes, then flip pan over and leave on counter DO NOT remove the pan. Let set until firm, then remove the pan and cut in squares. Wrap in waxed paper and keep in fridge. My daughter just leaves them in the pan and everyone just cuts the pieces they want.
