Ingredients For hard maple candy

1 1/2 tspbutter, softened

2 1/2 csugar

1 clight corn syrup

1 cwater

3 Tbspmaple flavoring
How To Make hard maple candy

1Grease a 15x10x1" pan with butter, set aside.

2In a large heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook over medium high heat until a candy thermometer reads 300* (hard crack stage), stirring occasionally.

3Remove from the heat; stir in maple flavoring. Immediately pour into prepared pan; cool. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container.
