flavoring oil ( we like cinnamon)
food coloring ( add drops to reach desired color)
How to Make Hard Candy
1Combine all ingredients and cook until temperature reaches 300 degrees.
2Remove from heat and add food coloring. Mix well, then add flavoring oil.( the whole bottle): mix well.
3Pour into shallow pan with sides. Let stand until cool and hard.
4Break into pieces and coat with powdered sugar.
5Store in candy dish or jar.
