Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup light karo syrup
- 1 (1 oz) bottle flavoring oil ( we like cinnamon)
- - food coloring ( add drops to reach desired color)
How To Make hard candy

Step 1Combine all ingredients and cook until temperature reaches 300 degrees.

Step 2Remove from heat and add food coloring. Mix well, then add flavoring oil.( the whole bottle): mix well.

Step 3Pour into shallow pan with sides. Let stand until cool and hard.

Step 4Break into pieces and coat with powdered sugar.

Step 5Store in candy dish or jar.
