My mother made Fantasy Fudge every year for Christmas. It is delicious and fairly easy to make. I also make it every year in July for our Christmas in July. I always use unsalted Land of Lakes butter. Always seems to work well and the fudge hardens the way it should.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • 10 ounces evaporated milk
  • 1 jar marshmallow cream (large)
  • 10 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 10 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 2 cups walnut pieces
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How To Make fantasy fudge

  • Step 1
    Put butter, sugar, and evaporated milk in a large Dutch oven. Over medium heat, use a candy thermometer and lightly simmer until it reaches 234 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Turn off the heat. Stir in marshmallow cream and chocolate chips. Blend well.
  • Step 3
    After chips and marshmallow cream are well blended, stir in walnuts and vanilla extract.
