This is my favorite fudge. I have been making it for over 35 years. I can't have the holidays without it.

Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup cocoa, unsweetened
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, in pieces
How To Make cocoa fudge

Step 1Combine all ingredients in medium size pan.

Step 2Bring to boil continue cooking till soft ball stage. 234 degree soft ball stage.

Step 3Stirring ocassionaly to keep from burning.

Step 4Remove from heat add butter,vanilla and pecans.

Step 5Do not stir for 3-5 minutes

Step 6Stir and pour in buttered pan

Step 7cool then cut in squares
