Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 8 - 10 - drops peppermint extract
- - red and green food coloring
How To Make christmas mints

Step 1In 2 quart glass dish, combine sugar, corn syrup, milk & cream of tartar. Cook on High 5 - 6 minutes or until few drops in cold water forms soft ball (238 degrees)

Step 2Let stand 3 minutes to cool.

Step 3Beat with mixer until creamy. Flavor with 8 - 10 drops peppermint extract. Divide into half and add food coloring.

Step 4Drop mixture by teaspoonful onto foil. When cool, store in airtight container.
