chocolate marshmallow fudge

This fudge recipe has been in my family for years. I remember my Mom making this when I was a kid.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups small marshmallows
  • 3-1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1-1/2 package butter
  • 2 cups nuts (pecans)
  • TO BE COOKED
  • 4-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • - dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make chocolate marshmallow fudge

  • Step 1
    In a large mixing bowl combine marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts and butter (cut butter into cubes).
  • Step 2
    In a sauce pan combine sugar & evaporated milk. Bring to a boil and boil for 7 minutes and add dash of salt and vanilla.
  • Step 3
    Pour hot mixture over Step 1 ingredients and stir until mixed well. Continue to stir until cooled.
  • Step 4
    Place in a greased 9x13 pan; cover with was paper and refrigerate.
