Another favorite Christmas candy of my family. The recipe came from a good friend, Chestine Green Alexander.

12 oz
semisweet chocolate pieces
10 oz
chunky peanut butter
1/2 c
pecans, chopped very fine
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 stick
margarine, melted
1 c
graham cracker crumbs
1 box
powdered sugar
1 stick
paraffin wax

How to Make Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Balls


  • 1Combine sugar, margarine, graham cracker crumbs, pecans, peanut butter, and vanilla.
  • 2Mix well. Form into small balls and chill in refrigerator at least 30 minutes.
  • 3After chilling, dip balls in chocolate mixture made of melting the paraffin wax and chocolate pieces in a double boiler.
  • 4Keep mixture hot. Dip each ball in the chocolate mixture and place on wax paper.
  • 5Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
